Euphoria
There’s hardly anyone who hasn’t heard of Euphoria, one of the best shows on TV. For reference, this HBO hit is in the vein of teen drama Riverdale. It has a dark, atmospheric setting and a certain grittiness to it. Visually, it’s gorgeous.
It also encapsulates a wide array of teen issues, such as drug addiction, trauma, sex, and family. After a three-year hiatus, the second season came out early in January.
Its relative newness hasn’t stopped Euphoria from becoming a big-time hit. It trails only Game of Thrones as HBO’s most-watched series. In February, news broke that Euphoria would be renewed for season three.
Abbott Elementary
Not all of the best TV shows have to be dark and graphic. In fact, Abbott Elementary is a stark contrast to Euphoria. It tells the story of elementary school teachers trying to get by at an underfunded school.
This down-to-earth mockumentary captures the feel-good school setting of Community, making it one of the best shows on Hulu. You can watch it on ABC, too.

Ozark
With three and a half seasons under its belt, Ozark is easily one of the best shows on Netflix. Arrested Development‘s Jason Bateman stars as Marty Byrde in this crime drama.
Like Breaking Bad, Ozark is about a man in the suburbs who drags his family into a criminal life. However, the writers and producers of Ozark execute the show in a unique way.
The first part of season four premiered in January. So far, reviewers on Rotten Tomatoes give Ozark an audience score of ninety percent. Make sure you catch up on Ozark before the release of season four’s part two on April 29th!
How I Met Your Father
How I Met Your Father is another one of the best shows on Hulu. This comedy puts a modern spin on How I Met Your Father by showing us the dating woes of the twenty-first century.
At the time of its season premiere in 2005, How I Met Your Mother didn’t have the added element of dating apps. HIMYF is a fresh revival for a new generation and a nostalgic trip down memory lane for fans of the original.
